Months are given in the purnimanta convention, the one Hemachandra uses. For a Krishna-paksha date the Gujarati amanta name is one month earlier; Shukla dates are the same in both.
All five of his kalyanakas fall in Mula. The first four sharing one nakshatra is true of every Tirthankara without exception; about ten then shift for the nirvana, and he is not among them. See the kalyanaka calendar.
The Dark Age After Him
The texts record something sobering about Suvidhinatha, and it is the reason this comparatively obscure Tirthankara matters.
Shortly after his nirvana, the monastic congregation went extinct. The teaching lapsed, and the tradition holds that it stayed lapsed until the next Tirthankara restored it. Jain cosmology does not present an unbroken line of transmission; it presents a line that can and does fail, and has to be re-founded.
For a tradition often described as fatalistic about cosmic cycles, this is a striking admission: continuity is not guaranteed, even for the dharma itself. It is also, quietly, the argument for our first mission.
He is the only Tirthankara given two names at a single naming ceremony, Suvidhi and Pushpadanta.
